Spring into one of the hottest events of the year-Essence Music Festival, held in the soulful heart of New Orleans, LA! Next year's festival will take place July 5-8, packed with African American traditions and cultures to include, live music, vendors, and amped up parties! While there, we will partake in some of the beautiful scenerary that N'Awlins has to offer from the Mississippi River, to the French Quarter, to Bourbon Street and everything in between! Let us not forget about that indigenous Cajun and Creole cuisine...mmh mmh good!

Hotel accommodations-

The Westin New Orleans Canal Place, is a AAA four diamond hotel known for its perfect location in the heart of it all! Located just steps away from the new Harrah's Casino, Canal Place shopping, museums and art galleries, we are sure that you will be able to savor the Big Easy's zest for living! The following options are available for a 3 night, 4 day stay:

            Single occupancy- $1200pp                                                   Double occupancy-$600 pp

            Double occupancy-$600 pp                                                Triple occupancy-  $411pp

A $100 non-refundable per room deposit is due now. Afterwards, we must receive a payment at least every 45 days in order to hold your room. If we do not receive a payment by the 46th day, your room is subject to forfeiture. Any refunds owed will be less the $100 non-refundable deposit.

You didn't think we were going all the way to N'Awlins without experiencing one of their unique Jazz cruises or sight-seeing tours, wait.......did you?

New Orleans Harbor Steamboat Cruise w/ lunch~  

    This is a two hour steamboat cruise on the Mississippi River, with a creole lunch. Price~$40

 Cajun Swamp Boat Tour~

     Head down to the swamp on a real life adventure! View fascinating plant life, alligators and much more as you glide through haunting bayous lined with moss-draped cypress trees. Price~ $30

Hurricane Katrina Tour~

     This is a three hour bus tour, where you will experience an eyewitness account of the events surrounding the     most devastating national disaster on American soil! The tour travels through neighborhoods such as Lakeview, Gentilly, New Orleans East, St. Bernard and Ninth Ward. Price~$52

New Orleans at Night, Dinner and Jazz Cruise~

     The sounds of a lively jazz band fill the air as you enjoy a lavish Creole buffet in elegantly appointed dining rooms for two hours. Price~$68     

New Orleans City Tour~

     Absorb the sights and sound of the famous French Quarter and historic Jackson Square, home of the Cabildo and Presbytere Museums. Price~$47

Transportation is NOT provided to any of the above tours and cruises. You can purchase streetcar (trolley) fares at www.neworleansonline.com for $5.
